Over Labor Day Weekend my Grandma Qualman passed away so Avery Eric and I made a quick trip up to attend the service. The funeral was a beautiful dedication to her life and the service she provided to others all around her.
Since we were in Grace I really wanted to run over to Hooper Springs in Lava. This was always my favorite place to go when we went to visit Grandma Qualman. This trip was especially tender as I got to share it with Avery.
Look at this CUTE outfit. I LOVE IT! I found the dress online and then the sweater at H&M. I think if I could get away with it she would wear it everyday
Hooper has a natural spring that taste like carbonated mineral water. Alone it taste terrible but when you add Kool-Aid it taste super yummy. the springs has this little area that you can walk down to and get the water right out of it.
As a little girl I loved this bridge.
Avery drinking straight from the spring.
After the funeral both Eric and Phillip went back to my parents house and we spent the evening talking and just enjoying each others company. Then on Friday Phillip and I went and drove around the the neighborhood that we grew up in. It was so fun to go up and down the streets and talk about all the people we knew and how much the area has changed.
