Day One Part One of Disneyland

Disneyland is truly the happiest place on earth. I busted into tears from joy at least 30 times while we visited. Avery was on cloud nine the entire time and loved every second of Disneyland. (side note) About two weeks ago we RE-potty trained Avery. After such a crazy summer I gave up on potty training then two weeks ago we hit it hard and she was back on track. Anyway, I thought that Avery was going to have a really hard time with going to the potty while at Disneyland so I put her in Pull Ups thinking that if she did have have an accident she wouldn't have to change her entire outfit. to my surprise she did shockingly well.

Here's Avery when we first got into the park. she just took off like she knew right where she was going! Such an determined girl!

Before leaving I read a bunch of  blogs on how to do Disneyland with a toddler. A few things that I loved are, bring glow sticks for night time. This was super helpful because we stuck a few of them on the stroller and that way we were always able to find ours when we got off a ride. It also kept Avery's attention while waiting in line. We also took TONS of snacks in a back pack so that anytime we were in a long line waiting for a ride we could give Avery a snack to help her wait through the line. The last thing that was super fun and important was that On Sunday we took her Elsa dress and on Monday we took her Minnie Mouse dress.  She LOVED having her special dresses on and would show them to all the "Cast Members".
So the first thing we did when we got inside Disneyland was split up so that I could stand in line for tickets to see Elsa and Anna and Nate and Avery could ride a few rides. Let me just explain how crucial it is to get Frozen tickets first thing in the morning, they are GONE within the first hour!!!! At first I was really annoyed and almost gave up  but I am SOOO SOOO glad we decided to stick it out!
After getting our return time of 10 am. we rode a few rides pretty close to the Frozen area so we could easily jump right back into line to see Elsa and Anna.  Here's a few pictures of the rides:

Avery LOVED the tea cups! I think she would have done this ride ALL day if we would have let her. ME not so much I rode it once a day and that was too much for my tummy! Avery was adorable while riding it! she loved that she could make it spin all on her own in fact she wouldn't let ANYONE help her!

at about 9:45 we went back to the Frozen area and stood in line. (I know SOOOO ANNOYING!) but we stood over by this little cottage and there was a door that Avery kept knocking on asking for  Elsa! This was the cutest thing EVER!!! (At the bottom of this post is a video I took of it but its not the best and I turned my camera thinking that would help.. Guess my camera isn't as cool as my phone! HA!)

On the roof they had this Olaf, that was hilarious he would talk to the people in line and look right at you. it looked so real, Nate is convinced that there is some dude making him move and watching everyone in the line. HA!

I don't know who was more excited once we got in to the building with Elsa and Anna, it was a close toss up between Avery and I! Avery just talked and talked with them and told Elsa that she needed to sing "Let It Go" and then did a princess spin for them both. it was unbelievable, we spent a good 5-10 minutes one on one with them.  This was one of those times that I cried just because I was just so happy for Avery!

Here's Avery showing off her magic skills!
