Day Two Part Two Disneyland

After lunch Avery wanted to go back and see Tinkerbell so we headed back to see her. When we got there it was pretty empty so we got right in to see her Tinkerbell and Fawn.

After we left "Pixie Hallow' We were walking around when we saw Alice and the Mad Hatter.  This was really special they walked with Avery and talked with her.  We spent so much time with them and they were both really silly and kept making Avery laugh.

After hanging out with Alice we went and rode a few rides and then headed back over to watch the second play.

Day Two Part One Disneyland

On Monday I thought that Disneyland was going to be quite and not have as many people there... boy was I wrong! If anything Monday was twice as busy as Sunday was. So, we decided to take it easy and just stroll through the park.  As we were getting into the park I started talking to a lady that was telling me all about "Disney princess fantasy fair" this is where all the princesses hang out and they have a few plays that are put on. We decided to head there first. This was super cool and I am so glad that we went the first because when we went back for the second show it was a zoo!!!

Look at this face! It cracks me up because the entire time she talked about how she wanted to "swim with Little Mermaid."  I wonder if Avery was disappointed that Arial wasn't in her fins.

After meeting a few of the princesses we decided to watch the first play which was Tangled. This was really cute and I think Avery enjoyed it as well.

After the play we headed over to Critter Country to ride a few rides and to also see Pooh and his buddies. When we got done with  The Adventures on Winnie the Pooh We saw Pooh and Tigger when we got over to them the "Cast Member" told us that they were going on break and would be back in 30 minutes. So we hung around and rode a few rides while we waited. Then we saw Pooh and we were told that Eyore and Tigger would be back in 10 minutes so we decided to walk around some more. When we got back Tigger and Eyore were there but Pooh was gone! UGH!!! I was super annoyed  I was under the impression that they would all be there. I guess that's what I get for not asking better questions.

After Avery gave Tigger this big hug she asked Tigger to bounce with her! This was one of the sweetest things I have ever seen! HA! I was laughing so hard that I forgot to take any pictures.

Day One Part Four Disneyland

WOW! could we pack anything else into this day? Why yes we can how about a firework show and then we should go to Fantasmic! Nate did not think that Avery was going to make it through the fireworks and told me that Fantasmic! was out of the question. HA! to Nate's total surprise Avery rocked it!  Not only did she do so good she didn't cry or complain even once!  I really wanted to make sure that we had good seats so we found a spot right in front of the castle and we stayed put for almost two hours before the fireworks started!  We were told that Tinkerbell and Dumbo were going to fly over the castle during the parade so we told Avery all night that we were waiting for Tinkerbell to fly over the Castle. She was stoked and told everyone around us all about how Tink was going to fly. We were a little disjointed when they didn't fly.  All in all it was incredible! It was a perfect night and I am so glad that we stayed through both shows!

OK, so I know this next picture looks terrible, but here's Disney's definition of what Fantasmic! is: "Fantasmic! is a nighttime extravaganza featuring music, pyrotechnics, video projected on water, fiber optics, lasers and many more effects." Basically its pretty much amazing but incredibly difficult to capture in a picture!

This is video of Fantasmic! It is like a thousand times better in person.

Day One Part Three Disneyland

After spending the morning in Mickey's Toontown we headed over to "It's A Small World." This was a real treat  because Nate had never been on it and I don't remember ever riding on it as well. I know there are haters out there that say it's super annoying but I have to say I think it was one of my favorite rides. Avery was mesmerized by it and would wave to all the little dolls. The other bonus is that it was about a 15 minute ride that you got to sit and enjoy the air conditioner. 

After that Avery insisted on the Tea Cups again. I decided that I would just enjoy them enjoying the Tea Cups. HA!  Some of my favorite pictures are of Nate watching Avery. Its almost like you can see the love in his eyes for his baby girl. 

In the afternoon we decided to go see Tinkerbell which was super cute and fun but it was a LONG line. I think we stood in line for about an hour. I was a little bugged that it was taking so long until we got up to see the fairies then I loved it.  We got to see SilverMist and Tinkerbell and spent a few minutes with both of them alone. I have to say I LOVE that Disney does this! I think it is so awesome that each kid gets to spend one on one time with each of the "cast members". 

When we got out of Pixie Hallow we saw this cute little stand that was doing face panting it was so cute that we just had to do it! After all we were in Disneyland and every little girl needs her makeup! Avery sat so still and was so sweet as the girl painted her face. After she was done and was looking in the mirror Avery said, "Ohh Avery's makeup on." how cute is that?

We rode some more rides that afternoon and then headed over to Frontierland, as I was pushing Avery in the stroller I noticed her head bobbing and then she was out cold! It made me laugh that with everything going on around her she was able to shut it all out and fall asleep! Since she was asleep we propped her up against this fence and let her sleep. She only slept for about 30 minutes and when she woke up she was ready for some more rides!

Such a sweet little thing when she is sleeping! I just love the placement of that little finger.
