Early trip to Utah

On June 27th, Phil called me and told me that Stephanie was having complications with her pregnancy and was being placed on bed rest. We decided that Avery and I needed to go up and help with Jed and anything else we could do for them.  On Sunday the 29th Avery and I packed up and headed to Utah. By the time we got to Utah everything had changed and Stephanie was in the hospital in Ogden being monitored. I decided I would stay at Kirsten's for the night and figure where I was needed on Monday. At 3am Kirsten got a call that Stephanie was being rushed in for an emergency C-Section. With all the changes I decided to stay in Utah for the week and just help out where I could. The following weekend Phil, Stephanie, Jed, and my mom and dad came down to see baby Eugene. While Grandma and Grandpa went with Phil and Stephanie to the hospital we stayed at Kirsten's and had a water fight.

 

Avery sure loves her cousin Amberly, Avery follows her around like a  lost little puppy

and copies everything she does.

Good thing Amberly is a good example and really helps out with Avery.

 

 

 

 

On the 4th I decided to take the girls to the parade and then to the park for some 4th of July fun. Auntie Kirsten bought them matching shirts and Avery LOVED being the same as Amberly. 

 

 

 

 

Let the water fight begin! Jed's little face when he gets excited is priceless! Just look at the pure joy! This is when Phil and Stephanie came down to see baby Eugene.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Avery sure loves her Uncle Todd. She went right up to him and asked him to snuggle her. So sweet!
