If I could freeze time I would. Avery is just so precious and everyday she reminds me of all the wonderful things this world has. We can't walk out to the car without stopping and petting the fake spiders on our door and smelling each flower as we walk to the car. If she sees a bird or a bug we HAVE to stop and watch it as long as possible. I love Avery's little eyes and how she sees the best in all things. Everyday I look at her she gets a little taller and a little bit bigger and it breaks my heart. I am just so grateful that I have pictures that I will forever be able to cherish these sweet moments.
I wanted a picture of Avery in this cute sweater and when I got my camera out, Avery ran and grabbed her Mittens and HAD to have him in the picture with her. Mittens has to come EVERYWHERE with us, and Avery shares everything with him. She will put her necklaces on him, she shares her water and binky with him. When Mittens has to take a "bath" she wonders around looking for him the entire time he is in the washing machine.
Nate took Avery to the water store with him the last time and they came home with this awesome jug. Avery loves it but hasn't figured out how to get the water out without getting herself completely drenched, hence the reason she is a naked girl.
We fed the Missionaries a few weeks ago and I was really in the mood for something rich and full of chocolate. So I made a Chocolate Pound Cake with a Chocolate Ganache. The entire time I was making it Avery was trying to get some so when I finished the ganache I let her have the whisk and she was in HEAVEN!
This Picture shows Avery's personality perfectly! She was "singing" Twinkle Twinkle! I laugh every time I see this picture. Don't we all just wish we could sit back in a rocking chair with a whisk full of ganache and sing Twinkle Twinkle? What a life!! HA!!!!
As a young girl, I always knew something special was happening when my grandma Scott would pull out her serving trays. I loved the excitement I would feel seeing her use them because it always meant someone was coming! I am so grateful that my thoughtful mom saved a few of them for me so that I can feel just the tinniest part of my grandma everytime I make something that deserves a special plater!
