I Love to See the Temple

Last Saturday, my parents were in Ogden and since we have been staying at our condo in Ogden a few weeks a month and happened to be in Ogden we decided that we would all go to the Ogden temple open house. What a beautiful day! We started or day out by going to the Salt Lake Farmers Market and then went to the Temple open house.
While in the temple Avery was super cute anytime she would see a picture of the savior she would say "ohh, Jesus!" and get this little bashful smile. She would also remind us that we needed to be quite and fold our arms while in the temple. When we drove past the  Bountiful temple earlier that day I told Avery that Nate and I got married there and that it was mommy and daddy's temple, now anytime she sees a church now she says, "Oh, temple cute! That's mommy and daddy temple."

I had Avery stand in this grass area and as soon as she saw me pull the camera out she decided she needed to do somersaults.UGH!!!! It looked so good in me head. haha,

Christensen Shindig

On the 24th all my siblings met at my mom and dads house and we had a big party.  It was so nice to we all together; the last time we were together was when I was pregnant almost 3 years ago.
My mom rented a bounce house and the kids LOVED it. We had to fight them to get them to get out of it. My crazy mom also rented a snow cone and a cotton candy machine.  Since we all act like monkeys at the circus we might as well have the treats to match the circus!

Sugar crash!

This is just a small glimpse at how excited Jed was when the bounce house was being set up.

Jewel Cave and Wind Cave

While in South Dakota we also stopped at the Jewel Cave and the Wind Cave. Nothing makes you feel the size of a termite like going into a cave. The Jewel Cave is the 3rd largest cave and the Wind Cave is the 6th largest.  I wish that my camera would capture even one tenth of how amazing these caves are. Avery cracked me up the entire time in both caves she would either yell that she saw Tinkerbell or Monster. I am sure that the other patrons loved that!
