Enjoying the beautiful weather and playing a little dress up.

Yesterday afternoon I let Avery pick out what she was going to wear for the rest of the day and this was the outfit she picked!  She has on a red leotard, a pink poka-dot scarf, a pink head band with a purple bow and a kitty cat that Grandma Deborah gave her for Christmas.

Oh this face just melts my heart!

Today Avery came out of her room with this dress that she wanted to wear to church. It's a dress that I had as a little girl and I was surprised it fit her so well. She was so excited to wear it and kept fluffing the dress all day.

Yep, these are the best pictures we could get with Avery. She will take pictures alone just fine but when we try to take them with her she gets super silly.

Why I Have Been MIA

I know it has been awhile since I have posted and every time I talk to my Mom she reminds me that it has been MONTHS since I have updated my blog... well there is a good reason its been awhile. We are expecting a new BABY!!!!!!!! We found out early December that we have number two on it's way which is super exciting and we couldn't be happier to be expanding our little family, the bad news is just like when I was pregnant with Avery I have been SUPER SICK!
YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!!

So let's do a little recap of what has happened since November:

Grandma Deborah came and spent a week with us right after Thanksgiving and helped us set up for Christmas

We have spent most of our days outside playing in the back yard since it has been BEAUTIFUL weather!

Due to mommy being sick, we have spent the rest of our time snuggling around the house.

We had a wonderful Christmas and we are lucky enough to have had Grandma and Grandpa Hoss come down and spend almost a month with us. This was so nice to have my mom here to take care of me when I was feeling so awful.

Avery made everyone play all her new games with her any chance she could get.

Avery got a doctor kit for Christmas and had to make sure everyone was feeling better. She even gave us all shots.

A new tool set so she can help daddy fix things around the house.

In January, we went on a little cruise with Grandma and Grandpa Hoss, and Aunt Emily and Uncle Landon. Good thing they went with us because if not I wouldn't have gotten a single picture!

My dad and Nate participated in a "Hairy Chest" contest.

Then the biggest even was finding out that we are having the baby. I loved taking these pictures because Avery was just so dang cute about them.
